And our Educare savings plan has been designed with this in mind. Simple and flexible, you to decide how long you want to save for and you choose the amount your child receives when they reach their college years.
What if I can't afford the cost of higher education?
With our Educare plan we guarantee semi annual tuition payments.
This means that your child will receive payments twice a year to help with tuition costs. What’s even better is that these payments will increase year on year.
What if I become sick or have an accident and have difficulty paying the fees?
We understand that your circumstances in your life can change without warning.
Which is why our Educare comes packed with the insurance benefits to help protect your investment and your child’s future.
What if I want more from my policy?
The great thing about MetLife Alico's products and services are their flexibility.
Starting from the third policy year, when our investment performance is good, we will give you a bonus that will be added to your plan, earning you profit until it matures.
What happens when my child graduates?
Seeing your child graduate is a special moment for any parent.
So in addition to helping you with tuition payments, Educare also offers a generous Graduation present for your child – a benefit equal to their final year’s college tuition fees. This is payable for 3 years after graduation and will ensure your child has a head start in life.
What if my child becomes seriously ill while studying??
With Educare's optional Insurance Protection, you can put your mind at ease.
We will provide cover for Accident Medical Expense Reimbursement, Daily In-hospital Income, and Monthly Cash Benefit for 20 years, as well as coverage for your child if they plan to travel abroad and much more.
